This fabulous day we will bike along the Urubamba River, a river that runs through the entire Sacred Valley of the Incas. Depending on the length of the tour, you can start this beautiful journey in the Inca towns of Pisca, Urubamba or any of the villages of the Sacred Valley.
08:00 hrs we will start with the pick up from your hotel to go to the village of Taray 40 minutes from the city of Cusco, near the town of Pisaq.
09:00 hrs we will begin the journey by bicycle on a trail near the Urubamba River, which crosses the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will start in the village of Taray, located near the archaeological complex of Pisaq (2,968 meters above sea level). At this point our guide will provide information about the circuit and the safety measures to be considered.
The route offers us a cool climate of the Valley with temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius approximately, where we will observe amazing peaks and mountains with extensive fields of crops.
It will be time to take a short break in Andean communities and share culture with the local people, where you can also taste the Chicha de Jora, an ancestral drink in the Peruvian Andes, made from corn.
Continuing with the tour, we will arrive to the town of Calca (2.928 masl), with a thermal sensation of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, then our van driver will be waiting for us to go to Urubamba.
13:30 hrs you will have free time to have lunch for approximately 1 hour, finally we will return to Cusco, culminating our services with the transfer to your hotel at 16:00 hrs.
