We will pick you up at your hotel around 8 am and then head to the town of Chinchero. Our starting point is a small place between small adobe houses overlooking crops and mountains.
The first stretch will take us to observe the Huaypo lagoon, extensive areas of crops and the snow-capped mountains of Chicon and Pumahuanca. Further on we will find the town of Cruzpata, a community dedicated to agriculture and livestock. If we have time we will be able to taste the famous chicha and share a bit of culture.
Our vehicle will pick us up in the middle of the tour, to take us to the community of Misminay. Here we will have lunch and enjoy the Andean food offered by the local people. We will continue our journey through a fun trail to the Moray complex, at this point we will have a brief talk from our guide and take the opportunity to capture some photos.
Around 3pm in the afternoon we will arrive at the salt mines, our guide will explain a bit of history and social impact at the community level, product of salt extraction. After visiting the salt mines, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
It's time to know one of the 7 wonders of the world, we will pick you up from your hotel and start the tour early in the morning boarding the bus that will take us from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu in a tour of 30 min. Finally we arrived at Machu Picchu and everything will be organized to meet the hand of our professional guide one of the most important destinations in South America.
You will enjoy the natural environment of the place, learn about the Inca architecture and culture, the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours by the Inca citadel.
After the guided tour you will have lunch and visit the town of Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will board the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will wait for you to return by bus to your hotel in Cusco.
