Lares, one of the most flowy mountain biking circuits in the Sacred Valley. Live the adrenaline and the splendor of the Andean landscapes of Cusco.
To begin our adventure, the car will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 8:00 am. We are going to drive towards the Sacred Valley, to the town of Calca and then turn off towards the Lares Valley. The route by car takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to the top of the mountain, where we will begin to descend.
Once at the top, our guide will instruct you about the route and provide you with protective equipment. After the safety talk, there will be the option to start on a sand fall with a good inclination (Freeride) If you consider you have enough technique, you can choose to ride through this stage, if not, you will have the option to deviate for another easier section.
We will go through high-speed terrain and obstacles such as water channels, some sections of stands and good curves, which will take us back to the town of Calca. We will make some cuts between the vehicular track and then take the path again. Being in Calca we will take the opportunity to enjoy our Box lunch and continue with the new path.
After finishing with lares, we will go up the same road again to the archaeological center of Ankasmarka, pre-Inca and Inca food containers and reservoirs are the architecture that predominates in this site. We are going to go around these containers and then descend some stairs to the town of Calca.
Along the way we will find fluid and steep sections that make your experience more fun, there is also an area of curves that will test your technique on the Bicycle. We are going to reach the community of Totora and from this point we will go down the cart track, cutting through trails until we reach the town of Calca, thus culminating our enduro adventure in the Lares Valley. We will return to Cusco around 3 in the afternoon.
