This day you will enjoy the highest enduro in the world! At the beginning of the day, we will head through the sacred valley to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will take a detour to head to the beginning of our adventure. Through the sacred valley we will arrive at the town of Ollantaytambo, here we will take a detour to start an ascent of approximately 1 hour to reach the beginning of the adventure. Before the start, our guide will give a safety talk and check that everything is ready.
At the beginning we will cross extensive wetlands, which are home to llamas, sheep and some Andean birds that inhabit the entire mountain range. As we descend we will pass through the first of the villages called Patacancha, where we will have the opportunity to spend some time with the villagers, have a snack and recharge our batteries. We will continue our descent through extensive rock and gravel roads until we reach the picturesque village of Huilloc. The villagers are famous for their textiles, their way of dressing and the beautiful hats they wear. Here we will rest for a while, and then continue on our way to the Sacred Valley. If time permits, we can extend the tour and make another descent of the same valley called Pumamarca, this decision depends on the guide, the weather and the condition of the cyclists.
Our full day Patacancha enduro tour, will be an adventure where you will experience the people of Huilloc, we know that the villages still continue to wear their traditional and colorful clothing, follow the same traditions as their ancestors to not have a loss of custom. In this patacancha tour you will be able to freely see the Andean mountains, authentic forms left by the ancestors of this millenary city.
